Well all you have to is shoot them 3 times and slice with the balde its the gayest thing ever.

It lowers the shield so you can hit em with the blade.

Why is the blade gaY?

The blade is so good because the weapon itself is complete sh!t. You can score a direct hit only to have the grenade bounce 5 meters away from them before exploding.

And the blade itself if usually only good for assassinations. It takes two or three hits from the front, by which time they've usually killed you (as they were filling you with lead/plasma as you approached).

That seems approite.

I always carry one for the last few levels. Much better than a sword (which has limited ammo and doesn't instant kill brutes anyway), especially as it can't be seen when you are in camo.
I also carry a carbine or beam rifle, depending on what range the combat is going to be at (also depending on availability)

Oh heavens, if it had kickback it might ACTUALLY be somewhat realistic. I welcomed the kickback and new pistol. It was a hell of alot better than getting picked off by a loser 34 miles away.

Anyway. the sword should only be used when pissed off. The brute shot is hardly used outside of campaign. I hate the gay little Plasma pistol shoot-and-hit combo. Spartan laser, definantly a noob weapon. I can almost taste the annoyance.
